Our History

Hotel Reservation

Born out of volcano fury from under the Pacific Ocean millions of years ago, Kaua'i Island is the oldest island in Hawaii history. The Kauai Island has evolved from producing sugar to growing coffee plantation; Taro still remains the dominant crop of Hawaii history and culture. The beauty and greenery of Kauai Island dubbed the island "The Garden Isle."

The Hawaii History notates the first inhabitants, Polynesians, on the island back in the fifth century A.D. It was not until several centuries later into Hawaii History, the adventurous Captain James Cook discovered the Kauai Island by accident on his voyage to Alaska.
